Does anyone charge sales tax on the items they sell? i don't think i have to charge tax on anything purchased out of my state but was wondering if i have to charge if someone in my state buys from me.

no i dont charge shipping or taxes. as soon as i start seeing extra charges on anything i buy i leave. i think i have only bought one thing that didnt have free shipping. and i do a lot of buying off the net

I charge sales tax for my state. To charge and collect sales tax you have to have a state sales tax permit also called a sellers permit. The taxes you collect you have to pay to your state tax board.
To find out what your state requires Google your state government for their website and look under tax board. If it doesn’t have tax board, then do a search on their website for sales tax.
