Handling fees

Is there a way to add handling fees? I’m brand new to Bonanza and trying to learn everything here. I like to insure packages and Bonanza just calculates the shipping cost. Other sites have where you can add a few dollars to cover the cost. Is that not the case here? Thanks for any help anyone can provide. :)

Hi @InventifDesigns,

Thank you for posting your question! At this time, we have not implemented a way to add a handling fee to an order. The best way to do this would be to increase the cost of the item. You can do this in bulk through the batch editor.

Here is some information on how to use the batch [URL removed] [URL removed]

If this is a feature you would like to see implemented, I recommend posting in our feedback forum. You can also visit this page to nominate your top 3 favorite improvements, the requests with the most votes are then implemented on our site.

You cannot add a handling fee, but you can add insurance

Batch Edit
Shipping
Insurance
You can choose, Included, Optional, Required or none

If you choose Optional or Required, then a box will open to allow you to add an amount

I include my handling cost with the shipping. You have a really nice booth. I can understand why you would add insurance. I would list in the description that shipping includes insurance.

Thank you Margiecrafts! How do you include the handling cost in your shipping? I don’t see where I can do that. Thank you again!

The cost of insurance is borne by the seller, not the buyer. If the item is not insured, any loss or breakage during shipping is not the fault of the buyer. That’s the policy of any payment provider. So, if you are going to add insurance to cover YOU as a seller, you probably shouldn’t advertise it.

Add it to the actual cost of shipping and post that amount for shipping.
