Can I remove this section, it is showing other items in my booth, and is placed in my Item Detail area before the item description of the item I am selling, It is very distracting, I already have other items showing at the bottom of the listing,

very very distracting, ugh

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 18, 2014

looks like they took it off as now I don’t see it anymore – its a very distracting non improvement!

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 18, 2014

spoke too soon, notice its back on my items too! NOT happy with this as sales are low enough as it is without something pushing the info on the listing further down the page

starshinin says: April 19, 2014

need to see item description BEFORE what else peeps have

CindyBear says: April 19, 2014

actually looks the mobile version too…does not look like that on desktop

ccmom says: April 19, 2014

ccmom says: April 19, 2014

And when viewing it on my cell phone it is too much, we should see the description of the item without all those other pics

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 19, 2014

it would not be objectionable if it were in place of the bottom of the page items or as a sidebar under the seller info

You need to sign up for a silver or gold bonanza seller account to get rid of that,One of the ploys bonanza uses to motivate you to pay money to upgrade to a higher level account

I am a platinum pro member and I do not see anywhere to change it

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 18, 2014

gold member here too! this is something “new” and “improved” that is not needed

Can’t believe another update trying to take the buyer away from the item they are looking at. Who wants to have to scroll past that to see the description of the item you are interested in. Many people don’t even know they can scroll past that and won’t see the item description.

Go to Account Settings….. then “Other Options”…….. then click “No” at “Show Experimental Features”. Not sure what memberships this is available on. Go to your Settings page and see if it available with your particular membership. I believe this is being tested for “Upsell” possibilities, as other related listings will appear on the listing the customer is looking at. Yes there is a big space where the item description is, but people will scroll down if they are interested in your listing.

I personally don’t think this will negatively affect sales. If you don’t want it on your site and you have the option to say “No” to the experimental feature, I highly suggest you click-on No.

I also suggest if your products aren’t moving on Bonanza, look at your listing’s titles, pricing if there are comparable products out there, your descriptions…make them enticing & detailed, adding the benefits and features of your product and add more quality photos. Niche, unique products always sell better vs. the products that are readily available on the internet. If you have all of this in place for your listings, customers will spend more time in the listing they are interested in and or go to related products. So they will scroll down to the description of the listing. So in summary, if your sales are consistently low, look at my suggestions, they may help you vs. chalking it up to the new or features being tested on the Bonanza site. Personally, I’ve been selling on Bonanza since 2011 and have been doing very well and LOVE their format and features. I spend a lot of time on my listings and product choices. It’s been a great run for me and I look forward to my continued business relationship with Bonanza!!!

I have that checked and it still shows up so its not an experimental feature

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 19, 2014

it needs to be moved to the side like a side bar below the seller info and not above the item info plus we already have the same deal at the bottom of the page

christie55 says: April 19, 2014

FrogAndBearCreations….. I went to your Booth and went on a few of your listings and they are back to the old way, with the descriptions ontop. It is an Experimental Feature. For you to see the change you made, you must delete your Cookies or History in your Browser. This will work for you.

A2z4u2c says: April 19, 2014

You can change your view, but buyers will still see it. In Frog’s booth, they are still showing above the description.

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 19, 2014

I have had the “no” to experimental features check since I have been here on bonanza and the annoying “feature” comes and goes

FrogAndBearCreations says: April 19, 2014

also I delete history and other browser settings every time I exit the internet – cache clean and soforth

I was able to remove it doing what christie55 said. However, now a buyer has to click on a blue link that says “Show item description and details”! But that’s another question.
