Why can't bonanza calculate shipping for my listings?

I have set my shipping for my listings and, for those without free shipping, when I click on “get price,” It says, “cost to (my Zip Code) could not be determined.” I checked my items with and without being logged in, which tells me no one else can see how much either. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

1 Answer

1) did you put in shipping weights
2) Did you select the different shipping options that you would like the buyers to choose from
3) I noticed that your items have set up for the invoice to be submitted for approval…shipping is not calc in these cases, because usually that option is used by sellers who wish to approve/add shipping costs.

If you would like your buyers to be able to go directly to checkout without prior approval then go to your Account Settings

My Bonanza
Account Settings
Seller Settings Tab
Scroll down and UNCHECK this box (this box should NOT be checked)

When I approve an order, send the buyer their invoice automatically (don’t prompt me to review the invoice)

Save changes

Then shipping will be calc as long as you have everything set up correctly…and *be sure to choose which shipping options apply to the item or the first option on the list will be chosen for you* which is media mail
