  Hello,
  we are David Altherr and Gail Wilson in the Verde Valley, Arizona and we buy, make, restore, and sell jewelry - locally and online. I (David) am a Professional Jewelry Dealer, Student Jeweler and Aspiring Certified Appraiser of Collectible American Jewelry. Gail is a retired Behavioral Therapist with a Master's in Psychology and Fifty Year Member Of The Order Of Eastern Star. We deal in any and all jewelry that comes our way, but our primary area of focus is in Collectible American Costume Jewelry of the 20th Century. In addition to Collectible Costume, please also find in our collections plenty of Vintage Native American Jewelry - Hopi, Zuni, and Navajo, Vintage Taxco Sterling, Antique Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Edwardian, and Victorian pieces, as well as any other antique or collectible odds and ends.
  
  Please know that I (David) go to extreme lengths to identify, authenticate, and appraise all of our jewelry. I work closely with and utilize the knowledge of a Professional Jeweler and Inlay Specialist (20 years experience) a Certified Gemologist (30 years experience) a Certified Appraiser of American Furniture and Decorative Arts (12 years experience) and a Certified Appraiser of Native American Jewelry and Artifacts (40 years experience, published, renowned expert). I myself am a Student Jeweler enrolled in the jewelry making courses as Yavapai College, and I am due to enroll next year in the certification program to become a Certified Appraiser of Collectible American Jewelry.

  Likewise, Gail goes to extreme lengths to masterfully repair and restore our damaged Collectible Vintage Costume Jewelry. Using other damaged/unremarkable pieces of Vintage Costume Jewelry of the same era and quality, Gail harvests the Original Vintage Components and Stones she needs. With these, loving care, and piercing attention to detail, Gail repairs broken findings and replaces missing/damaged stones (using only a specialized adhesive for non-prong set stones that is chemically designed not to deteriorate rhinestone foil-backs or other faux stones) thus preserving the vintage integrity of all our restored pieces.
  Gail also specializes in Collectible Vintage and Contemporary Eastern Star Jewelry and Memorabilia.

  Please note that all our pieces of Vintage Costume Jewelry that have been altered, repaired, or restored by Gail are Clearly Labelled as "Altered, Repaired, or Restored by Gail" along with the specific details. Any pieces not labelled as such are being sold in the same state we acquired them in (aside from being cleaned) and have all of their Vintage Integrity in tact to the best of our knowledge (though unlikely, we can never be totally positive that an alteration of some sort hasn't taken place to a piece prior to it coming to our possession.)
