  Hello!

  I enjoy the great out-of-doors....walking, hiking, gardening and bird watching, as well as good books and good friends. I am thankful to have a wonderful husband that enjoys the beauty of nature with me.

  Most of the books I am selling are from my personal collection. I find reading them very relaxing and enjoy the journey a good book can take you on.

  I not only enjoy reading my books but I like to repair them too. Fixing cracked seams and hinges, taping tears, and gluing in pages. If loose pages are not glued properly, it will only ruin the page and those opposite because excess dried glue tears the pages when opened. How many times I've seen a nice book ruined because of that. I only use archival glue and tape ("mending tissue"). If a book is very valuable, it is better not to touch it or to leave it to a professional. Putting a dust jacket in a new archival dust jacket cover is something I enjoy very much. They look so nice and now they are preserved for future generations.
