About me
My grandparents had a wonderful antique shop in Tennessee. I remember spending summers with them, going to estate sales and garage sales, and the excitement they would express when they found a "treasure" for the shop. I always envied that feeling, yet never quite understood how they could get so excited about finding a "thing". My Grandmother would spend enormous amounts of time telling me about each item, the age of it, hallmarks, and why it was valuable. She always sent me books about old jewelry and antiques and for the most part, they were put away unread, until last year. Now that I am an empty nester, and in my quest for earning some extra income and adding some fun to my life, I have started going to garage sales and estate sales myself. I now understand the feeling of exhilaration upon finding that one treasure .I hope you enjoy my Texas Treasures as much as I enjoy finding them. And thanks to Bonanza for giving me this home.
I wanted to add, I am a real person with real items. As you can tell by my photos ( I really am working on the quality, but doing the best I can for now )
