Hello! Here on a personal note I want to share with my community some of the pictures I have taken through time. Most of them are wildlife-related but others are just cool!

A Box Turtle from Maryland….

This is a Wren. She nested in my garage and was feeding young!

This Osprey was telling me “Don’t even think about it!” I took this picture at the Patuxent River while Kayaking….

Nearly as large as a crow, the Pileated Woodpecker is the largest woodpecker in most of North America. Its loud ringing calls and huge, rectangular excavations in dead trees announce its presence in forests across the continent….

excellent. i love to watch my birds. i have been giving them a handful of my dogs hair from brushing daily and they have fur lined nests this winter.

Barns what a nice idea for the birds. I had a yellow ribbon about 2 foot long by 1/2 inch wide. I tied it to my deck pole for my cat to play with.

One day it disappeared, low and behold I say it hanging from a birds nest. She must have wanted to spruce up her home.

We have pileated woodpeckers on our property.When they are hammering on a piece of wood,it sounds like they are using a jack hammer.It is loud!

Love your pictures.
We have a huge red headed woodpecker here by us. He is constantly hammering the side of our house. It will wake you up in the morning. I’ll probably have to patch holes in the side of the house if we can’t get it to stop. We slam the side door to get it to stop hammering.
