About me
Welcome to Cape May Books and Eclectica. We are Roy and Donna and we love books - reading books, buying books, selling books, collecting books, piling them up all over the house. We're so nuts about books around here that our daughter grew up to be a librarian! Even our cats like to help us read, and we have a lot of cats. You could call us crazy cat people but we don't mind. In our opinion, a house is not a home without a cat. We take in strays that show up on our doorstep, get them spayed or neutered, and give them a loving environment until we can find them new homes.
Most of the books we sell have been collected by us over the years. Roy has been a science fiction fan since he was a kid, a trait he inherited from his father, and then he inherited his father's science fiction collection too and our selling career began.
We also have managed to collect a lot of other stuff too. We have boxes and boxes of glassware, pottery, china, handcrafted items, vintage photos, and many other things we plan to add to our inventory as we go along.
We both have other full time jobs but we have found that online selling is a lot of fun for us. We love to interact with our customers and hope to offer unusual products that they can't find just anywhere. Bonanzle is a great place and we look forward to being here in the Bonanzle community for many years to come. It really is a community, too, and we think you'll like it here.
