Can you help me value these postcards?

I have 26 WWII German Post Cards. Six are not written on, and the other 20 are written in German in beautiful Caligraphy. They are all addressed to the same person, Frau Frieda Kercher.
The photography is beautiful, there are photos of children, flowers, and scenery etc. Could you help me put a value on these. Thank you in advance for any help you can be.
Cordially,

You might want to contact Karoden here on Bonanza
He knows a LOT, if not everything about vintage post cards.

And PS – if you need any translation – that would be me to help.

Good Morning Faith, WWII postcards are most valuable if they are RPPC (real photo post cards). Black and white with the subject matter being soldiers with their weapons, tanks or downed aircraft. You could expect anywhere from $5 – $40 for each of that type. Another collectible are artist SIGNED German postcards. Look carefully on the front and see if there is a signature in the corners… such as ‘Ellen H. Clapsaddle’. Those are highly sought after. Average postcards have lost value due to the economy conditions. Do some research about collecting postcards as there are certain postcards that are still sought after. Feel free to write me and send photos – I might be able to tell you more.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
