Interesting art deco compact - can anyone help id,

I was at a giant yard sale a couple of weekends back and picked this up. I was sure that I had seen something like it before, but my research has yielded nothing.

Hope some one here can help me out.

That is beautiful. Used mostly in the 40s and 50s. Very nice.

It’s lovely and i love the Art Deco period.

You didn’t show us the inside.

I remember about seeing one like this years ago; if you open the side of the Compact (take it apart) where the make-up goes – there might be a name or symbol.

If there is a Mirror (on the other side); the same thing might apply.

I love this compact! Could be 1920’s vintage flapper rouge compact, depending on the size. If you post a photo of the hinge it may help in identifying as well. Is the insert celluloid?
