Hi, that is in Chinese characters (not in Japanese).
It was quoted from an old poem from Tang Dynasty [URL removed]
- Only after polishing, the sword will be sharp; only after suffering severe winter, the plum blossom will be adorous.
(It simply implies " the more obstacles you overcome, the stronger you become")…
