I found these near the Chesapeake Bay while going for a walk in the woods. The pieces were not too close together when I found the second one, but they fit together like a puzzle and make a perfect oval.
Is this an Indian Artifact and if so, what was it used for?
Thank you for any help. I think I want to hang on to it, but if you have any idea about the value if any, that would be interesting to know.
Here are some images of things I found on that trip. The one I am talking about is the oval stone in two pieces, but I am also curious about any of the other fossil type of images on this page.
Is the pointy thing an arrowhead or some other type of primitive tool, or just a broken piece of rock?

You maybe should take it to an Artifact Museum the might be able to get you to someone that can tell you. Good luck but a picture would help.

Also, you can check the State Archaeologist’s office. Also if the artifact leads to a site (old burial grounds or village), removing items can be a problem depending on the State
