What type of artwork (paintings & drawings & prints) is selling on bonanzle?

I would like to know what has been sold on Bonanzle, that includes the wall art I mentioned in my question.

For example, have many abstract paintings sold or portraits of dogs? ;)

If you are an artist here, and have sold artwork here, what have you sold?

Thanks!!!

Hi Nina, I am Diego’s (minoico2000) # 1 buyer (see all his feed backs). He is really quite talented and the vast majority of his artwork varies. Try visiting his booth for an introduction and perhaps he may steer you into the true direction.

Best of luck to you (GREAT question)…

One way that you can find information like this is to go to the buy page, enter in your search term, then once the search comes back look down to the “other filters” on the left side. Click on “sold in the last year” and then the "refine search button below it. I came up with 163 results for a search for “wall art”. You may have to play with the search terms a bit, but you will be able to see what sold and for how much.

I bought an old painting at Salvation Army for $8.00 and sold it for $800.00. It was a dark painting of a city street with a flower vendor selling flowers in the middle. The brightness of the flowers against the dark, grey, cold night is what attracted me about the painting. I started it high and then began to lower the price slowly. I sold it in about three months.

I’ll tell you what—take a look at the art I have for sale in my booth….OK, did you see them? OK, to sell art…go the opposite route! Mine have not had one sale, question or comment! I think I may possibly ‘have to’ take them with me on my trip to the next world—you know, the one after this!
Then again, did Velvet Elvises [or Elvi] ever sell much?
How about pix of those dogs, playing poker?
[actually, they might really sell well!]

MONTROSE,

Did you purchase Diego’s work on another website before seeing it here on Bonanzle?
Thanks!

RDesigns,
Thanks for your excellent suggestion!!!

And THANKS to everyone else who has posted on this thread!
I appreciate hearing from all of you!!!

I haven’t sold any artwork here, although my art has been in many, many hand-picked lists. ;)

Maybe I should try to list lower-priced art here.

Dear Nina,

I have been selling here on Bonanzle. I sell small original handmade sculptures and greeting cards made by creating prints of my original artwork.

I have not sold any original paintings here- yet.

You have gotten some great advice! Good luck and all the best to you, Jane
