Bonanza you really need to step it up!

Bonanza you really need to step it up! This site is becoming a ghost town!
Sales have dropped so drastically it is really not worth the time of working the site anymore. I personally have switched mainly to 3 other platforms as sales seem to be few and far between on here. Most sales I receive are from my webstore that I advertise on social media for, or they are repeat customers from past orders. No new customers in a while now. Here is an example of how bad it has become.

Sales

Dec 2024 – $9,130.30

Dec 2025 – $1,771.80

That 1771.80 of sales were all generated by my repeat customers and my social media.

My sales on another site (E-platform that I have less than 10% of the items listed on) my sales were $6,597.05 and I have barely worked the site.

Is it really worth the fees(especially with all the new fees being implemented by Bonanza) to stay here?

Yes, it does feel like a ghost town, I only had one sale in 2025, and three in 2024. I stopped syncing my eBay store because I don’t want to pay for the extra fees for 500 items I have on there

There is so much competition out there, and only so many customers. Sorry.

It would take a new injection of investor funds and that’s not likely to happen for a site that’s tanking. One-by-one, the lights are going off. Fee hike in a weak market in 2025, no support staff in evidence, no or delayed responses to questions or approvals, webstores shuttered without notice. The one shining light was the boost to festive season sales from end-of=year bCredits (just a little joke). Happy New Year and to new horizons!

I personally don’t think there is enough money coming into the site to advertise it. The
“new” webstores went offline last week, about the same time my traffic fell from 200 visits a day to 20. I only had 4 items listed, and decided to close them yesterday since that line of business is fading.

Yes, I just closed my webstore. I am moving it to a different platform. I am working on removing listings also. I will probably just leave a few here as it is no longer profitable to work this site. U gave beeb working other platforms and thankfully have been getting quite a few orders on them.

time to move on folks!
I took down all of my inventory last year and will not be investing time and money here. I made a KILLING here during the pandemic and it’s slowly gone down to a trickle last year. Now, I’m making a killing on Temu and ebay!!!

Unfortunately, the “Golden Goose” was cooked when Bonanza thought it was best to charge for the importing of eBay listings at $20 a month.

When we were able to import our 1500+ items for free, we averaged (maybe) 2-3 sales a month. And it was a real pain to delete each item once it sold on eBay. Sometimes, the items would still appear here anyways, and we had to issue refunds to unhappy buyers.

Not at all worth $20 in fees. We immediately (like many, many others) scaled back the over 1500 listings imported here to less than 50. For $27.95 a month on eBay, we sell an average of 115 items every month. And Mercari doesn’t charge for a store.

Bonanza killed a great variety of free merchandise which was imported from other sites by incorrectly thinking that sellers would pay $20 every month to sell $100 in goods, if they were lucky. Now, the site has little to nothing left to offer. BAD MOVE….
