Customize categories on if silver member??????

Are you kidding me that unless I am at least a silver member I can not even pick my stores categories??????????? Really????? And if you even go in and try to fuss with them and add new it is a no go and it doesn’t replace back those that you did have and deleted out to change to the new!!!!!!!!!! Give us a break Bonanza how low can you go to try to get members to pay you money to sell here as to charge us to even have a category area in our store?????????

Hey guys!

You do not need to be a Silver member to use custom categories and this a temporary issue like @ComputerGuy described. This little bug has been reported and we hope to get this fixed here shortly.

It seems like the bug will delete the “last” category once you click the save button. If you’re trying to add three new categories it will only save the first two. You can add two more and have the last category be a random category and then the third category that was previously removed should stay on your account once you click the save button.

Thank you for your patience while we get this situation sorted out!

Thank you so much for letting me know I will be able to fix this soon.

You should not have to be a paid member to have custom categories. However, you do have to turn OFF the automatic categories and select MANUAL instead. Then, you can create new categories.

If it is not working, it may be a temporary issue with the saving of the categories.

shilowsbouitique, I went to try to add a new category to my booth, and looks like you are correct, it wont save. So i guess that little message on the side pertains to the custom booth categories. I wonder when this happened? Weird tho, cause my other categories are still intact BUT im not touching them now! Lol… I really wish we are at least told when there are changes like this.

I’m a basic member – no paid membership.

If you want your OWN categories (not Bonanza ones)

In Categories and Sorting, I have Yes to ‘create your own categories’

Next down, select ‘automatically’. As long as the cat. name is in the title or description, the item will auto-sort into it.

I just went in and added a new category and saved it just fine.
