A good way to get an idea of value is to run a Google search. Doing this for the Davy Crockett puzzle, and then clicking on “shopping” at the top of the page, yields three results for $14.99, $20.00, and $70.00.

The highest price listing should always be thrown out, since those listings are not going to sell. Consider that if two examples are available for no more than $20.00 then someone is not likely going to pay $70.00. Furthermore, if the puzzle were worth $70.00, then the low-priced listings would have quickly sold.

As a result, we can conclude that the puzzle is likely worth no more than $20.00. My guess is that it is probably worth $10.00 to $15.00 at the most.

I was unable to locate any results for the Hansel and Gretel puzzle, so unless the wrong name was given, it appears to be more scarce. This does not, however, mean that it is necessarily worth any more than the first puzzle.

Thanks to both of you. Since this is my first venture, I appreciate any help and both answers gave me distinct direction.
