Creating tax rules

Hello, I don’t quite understand the creation of tax rules. Should I guess which countries my buyers will be from and create tax rules for these countries? How important is this anyway? It’s necessary? what happens if I forget to indicate a country?

Hello MashaF5,

Thanks for your question. Tax Rules is a system that we implemented back before the collection of sales tax was required for all online sales. Except in some very special circumstances, sellers do not need to create tax rules or take any additional action, as sales tax is automatically collected at the point of sale for all sales where it is required by law.
