Website views

I have opened my Bonanza webstore a few days ago and I have noticed a sharp spike of views on a specific day. I have on that day 1169 views which is huge, given my normal booth views (around 60) and the fact that I did not advertise my site.
Maybe the website view count is calculated differently? counts each product view instead of visitors?
Hope the question makes sense.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi @Dreamland_Jewelry,

Congrats on the recent boost in traffic to your Webstore! When viewing your Webstore stats, the item views only count one view per item per buyer. You can learn more about how the views are calculated by hovering over the blue ā€œiā€ tooltip next to the numbers.

You can get even more data about visitors to your site through Google Analytics or Bing Webmaster. Learn how to link those here:

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
