The deck plate, tubes and channels are made of 1/4" thick steel to ensure great durability. The deck plate features diamond-cut texture to enhance friction of the surface and prevent slipping. The stand also protects the scale cable. Four NTEP certified alloy steel shear beam load cells are mounted on a 1/2” thick steel plates which are firmly welded onto the top deck plate. Four flexible feet with anti-vibration rubber cover are included. If necessary, the rubber cover and bottom part of the feet can be removed to convert to solid feet.The full length load cell cables are connected to the ABS junction box through the tubes (no exposed wires). The scale also features a detachable indicator cable so it is very easy to replace the cable - no hard wiring required. The scale comes with an NTEP indicator with built in rechargeable battery. Last but not least, the scale is beautifully painted with long- lasting special treatment.
