The album's first radio single, "Friend for Life," opens the project in soft acoustic guitar rhythms, which soon develop into an adult contemporary style with a slightly unbalanced beat. "Worlds Apart" is heavily driven by its rolling tempo and features a somewhat mystical sound, while "Hope for a Hopeless World" is unquestionably a combination of blues and jazz.
