Introduction by Harrison E. Salisbury.
The actress and author's fictionalized memoir of her time as a teenage Russian nurse helping a homeless orphan boy during the three-year siege of Leningrad in WWII.
Mildly bumped to upper corners, else near fine in slate-gray linen boards with red embossed titles and decorations to the front cover and to the spine; in a lightly rubbed dust jacket illustrated by Richard Cuffari; original printed $5.95 price codes 21395 and 1014 still intact to the front inner flap.
