"First edition" statement to the copyright page, 1954 date to the title page, $2.75 to the jacket's flap.
Seeley's last book, set in her home state of Minnesota is a very suspenseful mystery featuring a mother who lost her only son in a car crash and discovers her son had a secret marriage--to a female with a sordid past.
A presentable first edition in dust jacket.
Faint age-toning to the cover borders as usual, else tight, square and very good in blue linen with black titles to the spine, deckle page fore-edges, upper page edges a lovely yellow; in a very good dust jacket with short tears, creases and rubs to the shelf-edges; original printed $2.75 price still clearly seen through a former sticker shadow to the front inner flap.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after scanning for this entry.
