Item description
Sports Illustrated Magazine, February 23, 1981 issue featuring 17 year old Bobby Carpenter from Peabody, Massachusetts. Carpenter was the first US citizen to be drafted into the NHL directly from high school. He played 18 seasons in the NHL. Sports Illustrated called him "The Can't-Miss Kid". Good, used condition. Two pages with a 1-inch tear at margin. Also, Richard Petty wins his 7th Daytona 500. I am not a collector and have made no attempt to grade this item. Sold as is. Will adjust the cost of shipping if multiple items are ordered.
