Item description
One of a number of sterling silver flatware pieces signed by Antal Bachruch, a well-known Hungarian silversmith and retailer of luxury goods, particularly in Budapest. He specialized in silver items, often in an Art Deco style, and his name was prominently featured on many of his creations.
This 7.5 inch long heavy 99 gram sauce ladle features the Austrian-Hungarian silver mark along with his name marked A. Bachruch on the spoon bowl.
There is a monogram on the back of the spoon. We have no idea what letters it represents.
We have two other serving pieces by Bachruch that are in the same pattern. In addition, we have 12 matching spoon shovels in this same pattern also by Bachruch.
Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer
