This charming Department 56 set of the Airport and Blue Airplane evokes nostalgia with its vintage-inspired design, capturing a whimsical air hangar adorned with festive accents and warm lighting. ? Includes airplane, fence, trees sign. ? Illuminated building with detailed design. Light was tested to ensure still working before being wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure safe shipment. Most of the images show the set with the light on. ? Original boxes included for both the airport and the airplane. ? Perfect addition to holiday displays. Condition: The Airport is in great pre-owned condition with no major damage noted. The flag has broken off but is included should you want to glue back onto the tower. The plane looks good but we wanted to report that the plane was initially a bi-plane but has been converted to a single wing plane. Look image on box in comparison to image of the plane in this listing. Where the riser legs for the second wing layer rested, the prior owner painted black, which looks fine, but we wanted to point out this modification since it isn?t the original design? but perhaps better for today?s modern pilots. Also, there is a light shine underneath from glue used to re-glue one wheel leg (leg looks like new but a slight sheen can be seen when looking under the plane). Boxes are included but show considerable storage wear to include tears, tape, name of piece on foam. Pieces are clean with no stains, odors, signs of pests or water damage. Accessories (tree, fence,sign) are in excellent condition. Measurements: Approx. 8 inches tall x 11.5 inches wide.
