This unique vintage cat?s eye beaded necklace is a perfect example of 1960s mid century style. The beads feature a gorgeous frosted olive green finish and a captivating cat?s eye effect, known in gemology as chatoyancy, where a band of light glides across the surface. Separating these 2 strands is a gold tone double curb chain. Since the beads are also frosted the cats eye effect is more subtle than bright. This 3 strand layering cocktail necklace is an excellent statement piece for collectors of rare vintage jewelry. The combination of the unique cats-eye beads and the mid century aesthetic makes this a truly special find.
