Item description
This is for an NOS Mercedes W123 crank/tach pickup sensor made in Germany.
This was the final version of this part with the 90' degree L-angled black rubber plug-in. Earlier versions were a straight plug-in or had a clear silicone plug-in that would age quickly and eventually turn yellow and crumble after exposure to an engine compartment. The black rubber does not suffer from this problem. The angled plug-in is also a better fit under the tach amp. I've seen people who tried to modified one the old ones using a hard plastic plug-in which just doesn't hold up.
Note that while a mechanic's 'book time' to install this part on a W123 takes several hours I found a post online years ago that shows how to replace this part in about 15 minutes. I can send the winner a saved link to it.
