Mattel 1962 Ash Blonde Ponytail Barbie #6 and similar items

This Vintage 1962 Ponytail Barbie Doll #6 in Ash Blonde with its curly hair, blue eyes, light complexion, and 11-inch size is a classic piece of fashion doll history. She does have some signs of aging, and marks on her body. She has a slight green tint on her ears, her body has discoloring in areas with two tiny holes on her breasts and small slit on her crotch area. The polish is fading on her fingers and toes, as is the lipstick on her lips. Her bangs are somewhat stiff and the rubberbands that held the ponytail have disintegrated. Her left but cheek says B117 and her right says Barbie Pats, Pend. MCMLVIII by Mettel Inc. Her right foot says Japan with possible numbers under the toes. The red bathing suit has stains but we did not attempt to clean them. This Barbie is a valuable addition to any doll collection, showcasing the iconic character of Barbie with its original features and design from the 1960s.
