Yes, yes, yes. When I first saw this, the first thing that I thought was: "oh, the military likes to mark the sh*t out of everything; so this MUST be a US Marine Corpse (as a previous President said; TWICE)
Come to find out, thanks to Al Gore's wonderful invention of the Internet, it was made by the United Shoe Machinery Corporation which made a LOT more than just shoes and shoe brushes. They were a one-stop shop if you wanted to open up a shoe-making company and did a lot of business with the US government.
