intage 1970s Mattel Tender Love African and similar items

UP FOR SALE: Vintage African American baby doll by Mattel, from the Tender Love?era of the 1970s. The doll measures approximately 13 inches tall and features a jointed vinyl body with a gentle closed-mouth expression and rooted textured hair. The head is marked 1978 Mattel Inc. USA and the body is marked 1975 Mattel Inc. USA, consistent with Mattel?s production practices of the period. Facial sculpt differs slightly from some earlier Tender Love examples, which is known to occur within this line. A small molded opening is present in the palm of the right hand; this is original to manufacture and not damage. Condition shows light surface wear consistent with age and play. A solid example of a 1970s Mattel baby doll and a nice addition for collectors of vintage African American dolls or Tender Love?era pieces. AS IS AS SHOWN ?
