2026 Native American Dr. Poly Cooper One Dollar P D Coin Set
Description
The 2026 Native American Dr. Poly Cooper One Dollar Coin Set consists of two uncirculated
$1.00 coins made of 6% zinc, 3.5% manganese, 2% nickel and 88.5% copper. One coin is minted
in Philadelphia and the other in Denver. These business strike coins are certified by the U.S. Mint and originate
from the United States. This set pays tribute pays tribute to an important Native American ally and its contributions to
the Continental Army.
The 2026 Native American $1 Coin obverse (heads) design retains a portrait of Sacagawea carrying her infant
son Jean-Baptiste.
The reverse (tails) design portrays Polly Cooper holding a basket as she shares the Oneidas? gift of corn with
General Washington. The design represents the generosity, courage, and sacrifice of the Oneida during the
American Revolutionary War.
The year of minting, mint mark, inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "Liberty" and "In God We Trust" are appear on the
edge of the coins.
These coins are a special edition issue in 2026.
