BI Tetradrachm. Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch, struck 249 AD.
26mm 12.97. (Larger and much thicker than a U.S. Quarter which is 24mm and only 5.7gm).
Obverse: AVTOK K M IOV?I ?I?I??OC CEB, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right seen from the behind.
Reverse: ?HMAPX ?? OVCIAC Y?ATO?, eagle standing left, wings open, with wreath in beak; ANTIOXIA / SC in exergue.
