Item description
The W G Sissons 19c Silver Plate Coffee Pot is a beautifully crafted Victorian-era teapot made of silverplate in the United Kingdom. Stands 10 inches tall, with no loss to the silver and the cartouche is not monogrammed. With a classical motif and exquisite detailing, this coffee pot reflects the elegance and craftsmanship of the 19th century. Perfect for collectors of antiques or those seeking a vintage piece to add to their home decor, this coffee pot is a testament to the rich history and artistry of British silverwork. The registration mark on the base dates to 1868. There is a very shallow ding on the cartouche and a very small wobble to the base. Buyer responsible for shipping costs. Purchase price refunded if item is not as described. Please note that since the coffee pot has ivory insulation spacers, I have registered it with the UK Animal and Plant Health Agency and it qualifies for an exemption to the ban on the sale of ivory.
