After power on it displays the OFF message on the screen, the CAL, MENU and F buttons do not re-act when pressed. When I press the ON/OFF button it displays 1.60 and 1.40 then continuously flashes 0.0000 g After that there is no response when any button is pressed, however When I press down on the part the Weight Pan should be sitting on it displays - - - - - then goes back to flashing 0.0000 g No further testing was done, this item may only be suitable for people in the business of refurbishing this type of equipment. I did a basic wipe down, the item will need additional cleaning.
