80s Kjl Red Black White Rhinestone Bar and 20 similar items

These two were acquired at the same time. One is alternating black and white Lucite, slightly domed panels with silver tone plated metal bars, each studded with 11 clear rhinestones; the other is a true red with the same number of panels metal bar separators. Note that the blk/white panels are not equal numbered – there are 4 white/5 black – which is original because the construction and measurements are the same. There is one like these pictured on page 96 of “Shamelessly Jewelry from Kenneth Jay Lane” by Nancy Schiffer, 2007. These bracelets are not marked, often were tagged by the designer, or boxed with the proper provenance… often those items were thrown away, so it’s a thrill to find it in a reference book! Also, on page 109 of “20th Century Plastic Jewelry” by Roseann Ettinger, 2007, a solid black version is featured worn by a model in 1972 advertisement for Trifari and Eisenberg Ice! Each have nine slightly domed panels; bracelets are 1 3/8” wide; all the rhinestones are present, bright and sparkly; the elastic on the red one is slightly looser than the black white one – both are secure; overall, they are in excellent vintage condition.
