Elegant and Glamorous Jewelry for the Walls by Rick Olivadoti.
Olivadoti has adored all that sparkles for as far back as he can remember.
Mr.Olivadoti , an architect, by trade, acquired an extensive collection of 18th century crystals and estate jewelry over the years. While working with Elizabeth Taylor at AMFAR and for the New York Gala, he became inspired to create "Wall Jewels" as a homage to Ms. Taylor. The combination of his skills as an architect, his passion for jewelry, and his admiration for Ms.Taylor, launched him into developing a mixed media technique of transferred images, pencil, ink, and Swarovski crystals creating magnificent jewels into fine, whimsical and affordable art. Architect/artist Rick Olivadati has painstakingly arranged vintage Swarovski crystals over his graphite drawings of deco jewelry. Rick has exhibited his work at Art Basil in Miami.
