Item description
He Lives by Austin Pardue 1946 HC/DJ
He Lives
Austin Pardue
New York: Morehouse Gorham Co. 1946
Second printing Nov 1946
105 pages
The binding is in good condition. The pages are clean but lightly tanned and the author's name is written on the front end paper. The end papers are foxed. The red cover is lightly faded on the edges. The jacket is edge worn and has a stain on the front. Good in acceptable dust-jacket. Hardcover.
Two boys--each young, vigorous, promising--went forth to war. One returned triumphantly, the other was killed in action. Why? The Church has the answer, and it is one full of comfort to all bereaved persons. The answer is to be found in the doctrine of the Communion of Saints--a doctrine of hope and joy to those who rightly understand and appreciate it. It is this doctrine that Bishop Pardue sets forth in contemporary language, for modern laymen and women. (#00001085)
