Item description
The Invasion of Britain by Sir Herbert W. Richmond
The Invasion of Britain
Admiral Sir Herbert W. Richmond
London: Methuen and Co. Ltd.
Copyright 1941
81 pages
The binding is weakening, but is in acceptable condition. The pages are clean but tanning and have an odd musty smell. The blue cover is faded on the edges. The dust jacket is edge worn and stained, the spine is darkened and a name and address is written on the front flap. Acceptable. Hardcover.
This work outlines in broad fashion the various schemes for the invasion of Great Britain, either projected or actually attempted, from Queen Elizabeth's day to the War of 1914-18, and the naval and military measures which were taken to defeat the attempts. (#02)
