Item description
This is a rare, beautifully accented, West German, etched glass beer stein with a pewter bezel lid. The artwork is of game birds flying from reeds on one side of the stein, and a wild boar in the forest on the other side.
The hinged lid also features a carving of the wild boar in a glass-like acrylic, with a pewter bezel. It is attached to the handle with scalloped, ornately designed, thumb lever. On the inside of lid, around the bezel, it is marked Made in W. Germany.
It is 6” tall to the top of the lid. The base is 4" in diameter.
