It allows you to carry your phone (which you're doing anyway in your pocket) and your important cards, and not have another wallet, while providing safety for your phone from drops! This item has credit card pockets and a side entry pocket on the front of the case. The iPhone 5 for example easily fits in the top of the case. The back has a clear ID window for ID's. This item does not require RFID protection as long as the credit cards are inserted face out. Approximate size for phone should be no smaller - 2.31 inches (64.51mm) x 4.87 (123.7) inches. Width is most important so that the phone doesn't "fall out". There is not top closure. The phone is secured by the snug fit.
