When you plant go about 2 inches of dirt on top of them . Plant with fine finger roots on the down side but I just toss mine in the hole cover mine all come up anyway . Water well for 3 or 4 days your good . If when you get your Canna something has come up will be a few days before you can get to them just keep in a cool place mist them with a spray bottle every other day. Janie
