The front hinge is starting to weaken, otherwise the binding is in good condition. The pages are tanned and have scattered foxing and brown age spots throughout. The end papers are browned, the front end paper has Victorian style stickers pasted on and a gift inscription dated Christmas 1879. The cover is rubbed and edge worn. Acceptable. Hardcover.
