Item description
Set of 3 lovely old George Jones Sons lunch or salad plate, octagonal in shape, decorated with hand painted multicolored floral bouquets, framed with a delicate thin blue border and gold rim. The plates are 8-7/8 inches in diameter at the widest. The magenta mark on the back shows the distributor, Ovington Bros, in a semi-circle over a crescent that frames the initials GJ Sons. The plates were made in England and have a number 23962 hand written underneath. Each of the plates offered were lightly used and have mild utensil marks on the surface. Very little color loss.
