Dateline/Era: Late 1960s to the early 1970s Style: The charming angels are anything but quietly at prayer. There bling-bling sequin robes tell an entirely different story. Such a cool handmade item, we couldn't resist sharing it with you because we know - somewhere in this wonderful world they will find a most suitable home. Materials: Handmade with sequins, beads, ribbons and wire. Halo ringed heads, praying hands wings are of plastic. Actual construction unknown. Looks to be something from a 1950s homemade styled project. Detailed Condition: Very Good. No marking present. They stand on their own without support. They need some re-adjusting due to storage (steam their ribbons). The back detailing done with the beading is quite remarkable. Height:The 2 Larger Angels are 6 1/2" and the 2 smaller Angels are 4" in height. Lovely to keep display, to use, to gift someone special or keep with your prized collection of seasonal items.
