Bitcoin as a payment method

I was wondering if I am allowed to say I accept bitcoin on my ads. I ask because I don’t see anyone else doing it.

I’m currently looking for a shopping cart solution, but would be ok with the customer contacting me, I tell them what I need in bitcoin, and they send it.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello JohnnysJunque,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for any trouble. Currently, Bitcoin is not an acceptable payment method on Bonanza. Sellers are able to accept payments via PayPal, Amazon Payments, Direct Checkout or Money Order (depending on your current eligibility). We are always open to feedback and suggestions on ways to make the site more user friendly! We would love if you would share your ideas on our formal feedback page for our founder to [URL removed]

Hmmm… good question. Bonanza Support might have a different take on this compared to what I think you can do. But, the following is from Bonanza’s help [URL removed]
-———————————
What are Bonanza’s Limitations on Accepting Money Orders as Payment?

“Until you have at least 3 positive feedbacks on your seller account, buyers in your booth will need to pay with Paypal or Amazon Checkout. We implemented this measure in order to protect our buyers, since it’s difficult (actually, basically impossible) for them to recapture their funds if a transaction goes bad where they paid with money order, whereas Paypal and Amazon Checkout provide protection from the buyer’s credit card company.

If you would like to accept money order for your transactions, there are two [URL removed] (1) import your feedback from eBay so you can instantly reach the 3-feedback minimum; or (2) accept alternative forms of payment until you reach the feedback minimum.

We’re all about making Bonanza a safe shopping environment that our buyers can depend on. Thank you for your understanding."
-—————————-

Since you have the feedback, you are certainly entitled to accept Money Orders or Checks as payment options. Now, I personally see accepting Bitcoins as similar to accepting checks or money orders. I’m pretty sure that Bonanza wants its fees in regular currency, so you certainly have to conduct the transaction with a normal dollar amount on the sale. Then, I would imagine that if you want to accept an amount in Bitcoins (and treat it like a money order transaction), that would be up to you and the buyer.

Here’s where I think it could go [URL removed]

> First, buyers would have NO way to get their bitcoins back if a seller was dishonest (not saying that you are). PayPal and credit cards offer buyers protection. To be fair, the same protection issue applies to payments via check or money orders. All three payment options (check, money order, or Bitcoins) involve a trust issue between seller and buyer.
> The value of Bitcoins fluctuates so that you (seller) may not get a good price for the item if the exchange rate of Bitcoins goes DOWN or the buyer ends up overpaying because the exchange rate of Bitcoins goes UP. This gets more complicated if there is a refund issue. Do you refund the purchase price with the original Bitcoin amount or base the refund on the current Bitcoin exchange rate?
> You will be dealing in fractions of bitcoins because of the current high value ($100 = 0.31 bitcoins). This would confuse lots of people.
> Not sure that it would be worth the effort as a seller, because the % of buyers who would want to pay you with Bitcoins would be so low… my guess would be less than 1/2%.

I agree and also see bitcoin as being similar to accepting checks and money orders. I was wanting to accept bitcoin as a method of advertising, meaning that I could get my booth listed in directories of places that accept bitcoin. Thanks for your response.

Are there people who invest in cryptocurrency? Will you have your own idea of the best [URL removed] cryptocurrency app? I still cannot tell, there are only a few very interesting apps, but it’s very difficult to pick the best. Because of this, I agreed, and your advice is just interesting, to explain this with you.

If somewhere it is not possible to pay for purchases or something like that with bitcoin, then I use different tools for currency conversion. For example on the website [URL removed] I found a great fresh info on how to do it correctly without losses at the exchange rate. This is very useful information for everyone.

In 2021, many casino sites appeared and it seems to me that this is due to the fact that many people sitting at home really wanted to have fun, and the Internet gave them such an opportunity. I recently read a review on the site [URL removed] and made me very happy, because after my registration, I was given a lot of welcome bonuses!
