I picked up some crystal bells at an estate auction. Ofnah, Krosno and Bleikristall. Does it matter that a couple of them have lost their clappers? Are they still desirable and worth anything without them?

slim tweezers will work if you have the original clappers ready to be applied

I think it does. It is like offering something broken. I would purchase the below glass beads and some fine wire and fix it and state the clapper is a replacement. or at least send it with the bell and take a picture of what your giving them to restore it. And of course your price will reflect that it is not all original. This way you would be more apt to sell it. And this is just my opinion and what I would do

I should add to make sure the bead isnt too big for the bell; it would look silly

Actually I have the original clappers. They just arent attached. I’m going to try to reattach them cause these are beautiful bells. I’m not sure how to get down in the bell. Maybe I can find a very long set of tweezers.

In this tight market, buyers want their moneys worth, so I’m guessing that they would want the clappers intact, in the bells. I agree with barntique, that otherwise, it’s like offering a broken item.
