Excessive questions to list items

I realize people look for items with certain specifications but oh my gosh I have had some ask me for up to 40 details in a listing. And I am aware that here on Bonz if you don’t fill all that out, google feed will not show your items. I am sitting here shaking my head as this is making it so much harder to list my items. Some details are obvious and some being asked for I am like WHAT IS THAT!!!! REALLY? Like we didn’t answer enough details before that they now want more when most are visible in pictures. I usually don’t complain, but this I am because I know my items are dead sitting here unless I do them. Sitting here just shaking my head and frustrated at this point. What happened to simple now days???

I know…the item trait list is so long now..I don’t answer them all, mostly because the information is not available…but most part google still only needs upc, brand, mpn or isbn….the rest is to narrow search results

ebay has gotten the same. if you don’t fill in all the stuff they ask for, they send you a notice of recpmmandations to fill them out.

And yet I continue to see items listed with [URL removed] does not apply which kind of makes me a bit upset when the same item is rejected from the feed when I forgot to put in the upc

If you title your pics before posting them here, they will show on Google shopping whether Bonanza says they will or not. I take my pics and upload them to my computer and title them, for instance “Vintage Lea Sophia Gold Tone Necklace With Faux Pearls” If you do that, your items will show up on Google.

The excessive use of questions will lead to negative results and the passivity of students. Some teachers ask up to 400 questions a day in the classroom. An overuse of questioning can deter students as they begin to feel intimidated or interrogated from participating in discussions. [URL removed]

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
