How to overcome " approved, awaiting checkout" status?

Hello.
We have a few items, that instead of being sold, somehow are " Approved, awaiting checkout"
The buyers complain they were stuck in this window, and cannot just"buy" and item or complete payment.

We’ve disabled the “accept Offers” button in settings, but still do not know how to clear or complete these orders.
Can anyone help?
THanks.

Hi Wanda! We just got another “Approve or cancel” option, and then it took us to an “invoice” and then we were supposed to approve it again and invoice the buyer.
Still can’t figure out how this happens.
We already disabled “Offers” and we’d like to not see “orders awaiting approval” either.
Thanks!

I had the same thing happen with my latest sale yesterday. I received an invoice to approve instead of the Buyer being able to purchase it immediately. It did not involve making an offer. This is the first time I have had this happen.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
