How to add and remove item traits (attributes)

Hi all,

I created a new item yesterday, a mini USB mouse, and I need to add an additional trait (attribute description), the color. Color is not included in the default template and I have 5 different colors to offer.

Also when using a trait that has “many values” for example color, if I remove the trait from the list I can not add it anymore.

And the last question, how can I remove or hide traits that are not necessary for the item listed.

thanks

To add several color variations to a listing you have to have Many Colors in the color attribute [URL removed]

Then option to add individual colors should appear just above the description box…

It should show a box that says

Color and anther for quantity

There is a link under that that says

Add available quantity for another Color

Click on that and add another color/quantity and continue clicking on the link to add the colors you have

For categories that do not have the color item trait you will have to submit a Suggest an Item Trait
The link is on the Help page under

You cannot hide or remove traits..just leave them blank

*For items that have multiple trait [URL removed]

The template for USB Mouse does not have the color attribute box.

What I am asking in how I can add the color attribute box or other attribute boxes that I need when I add an item. And also there are attributes boxes that I do not need so how can I remove them.
